Involuntary Collectors 

Eurovaistinė, one of the leading pharmacies in Lithuania, tasked my team to create a Christmas campaign about food supplements and cosmetics as meaningful Christmas gifts for your loved ones. Me and my creative partner were looking for an insight that would lead us to a funny and attention-drawing idea.

That’s how we came up with the insight about gifts that lots of us keep getting – all the unnecessary stuff bought without thinking about the person who gets it. That’s how a lot of us become involuntary collectors of useless stuff.

So, we created two TV clips that depicted two of these persons, involuntary collectors of mugs and sweaters. And we gave the TV audience the alternative way, we told them how not to make anyone an involuntary collector, by giving meaningful gifts that won’t take up space at one’s home because they would be consumed.

The ad campaign was created while being a part of the team at Ogilvy Vilnius advertising agency.
